Purchases are political contributions

Items sold through this store are sold to raise funds for the Campaign. Your purchase is a contribution, not a commercial retail purchase. As a result:

•    Contributions are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.

•    Contributions are not deductible as business expenses.

Contributor eligibility

By making a purchase/contribution, you certify that:

•    You are at least 18 years old.

•    You are a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited.

•    The contribution is made from your own funds, in your own name, and you are not being reimbursed by any other person or entity.

•    The contribution is made with personal funds. As a matter of Campaign policy, this store accepts contributions from individuals only — please do not purchase with corporate, business, union, or other organizational funds. *(Alabama law does not limit or prohibit corporate contributions; the Campaign simply does not accept them through this store.)*

The Campaign may decline or refund any contribution that does not meet these requirements.

Public disclosure

Alabama law requires political committees to disclose certain contributor information. When total contributions from a single source exceed $100, that source's name and address, together with the amount and date of the contribution, may be reported to the Alabama Secretary of State and become part of the public record under the FCPA. Reporting thresholds and requirements are set by law and may change. The Campaign has no discretion over what the law requires it to report. By contributing, you acknowledge that this information may become public.
